Cardiologist vs Internist
Hi there!
Well I went to the Internist and he was full of dire this and that. I went this past Monday to my longstanding Cardiologist who did all the necessary tests and he called today and gave me a full bill of health on all the bloodwork! He told me the cholesterol was aok and that the testing for the diabetes was all within NORMAL values now. I was told to keep on doing whatever I've been doing with diet and exercise !
The internist LOST the mailorder prescriptions in 15 minutes time, bad staffing, and blew off the bleeding I'd had after the seat belt cinched me and traumatized my internals. He said his staff said I'd only called in an FYI as to what had happened. Of course after viewing my blood soaked briefs he sung another tune altogether. I'm NOT going back to that practice.
I'll stick with the Cardiologist. He has ties with an Endocrinologist should I need to see one at any period PLUS he answers my calls promptly and promptly calls me with the results of my bloodwork and other tests!
Oh, my secret on bringing my sugar to normal? It's been simply snacking on Dannon Light and Fit Yogurt in the 4 oz size. I've picked strawberry and the peach as my favorites. This size comes in personal snack containers perfect for the insulated lunch bag and fits nicely in the refrigerator!
Thats a ringing endorsement for Dannon folks :-)
