Changing When I Take Tests and Medications

Hi,

Well I am now supposed to take my tests randomly every day so that the doctor can get a true picture of what my level is at various times of the day.

I tested today before dinner and it was at 89. I'll test when I go to bed to see how dinner and the pre-bedtime snack of low fat dannon yogurt effected my level.

Tomorrow I will test after eating my breakfast of yogurt and mid day after my yogurt lunch. Why yogurt? It's a great way to manage the sugar levels and is easy for me to eat since I have full dentures!

I now take my metformin when I get up in the morning and at dinner. That is going to have an effect on my readings also.

Low points: I'm getting pains in my upper thighs and my shin bones. I also continue to have 'pressure' on my right temple. The internist didn't seem to be 'alarmed' at the pressure that has been going on now for two months. He attributes it to 'work stress'. I sure hope he is right and is not just 'knee jerk' response to a very real problem I'm having!

I truly desire to see some inter action from everyone on the Blog. I haven't seen any interaction!

Mel
